Upcoming DET Auctions

Leipzig, May 21, 2025 -  PRISMA European Capacity Platform GmbH is pleased to announce the upcoming auctions for short-term regasification capacities offered by Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH (DET). The auctions will cover the years 2025 and 2026 at DET’s terminals in Brunsbüttel (BBÜ01)**, Wilhelmshaven I (WHV01), and Wilhelmshaven II (WHV02).

The available capacities include regasification, LNG storage, and send-out to the grid. Products will be marketed with both Obligation to Deliver (OTD) and No Obligation to Deliver (NOTD) options.

Auction Schedule
The auction is scheduled to take place between 23 June and 2 July 2025. A detailed auction timetable will be published shortly.

Participation Requirements

To participate in the upcoming auctions, interested market participants must meet the following requirements:

1. Registration with DET
The following documents must be submitted to capacities@energy-terminal.de:

  • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

  • Know-Your-Customer (KYC) Questionnaire

  • Letter of Agreement (LoA)

  • Proof of credit rating or equivalent financial security

2. Registration on the PRISMA Platform
Participants must also:

  • Hold the Shipper role on the PRISMA European Capacity Platform

  • Have a valid Organization and User Assignment with Deutsche Energy Terminal (DET)

  • Accept the DET Auction Terms and Conditions

Important Information
*This offering includes the 10% mandatory short-term capacity in accordance with LNGV regulations.
** Note: The Brunsbüttel FSRU will be relocated from its current jetty to a new jetty in 2026.
