How can we make architecture reviews lighter, faster, and more collaborative?
The answer: LASR – the Lightweight Approach for Software Reviews.
A method designed to help teams evaluate their systems effectively, without the heavy ceremony of traditional review processes.
A Hands-on Session with Stefan Zörner
The evening was centred around the engaging session led by Stefan Zörner, software architect, author, and passionate advocate for pragmatic architecture work.
Traveling from Hamburg to Leipzig, Stefan brought his energetic and approachable style to explain how teams can apply LASR in their own environments. With interactive slides, practical examples, and a touch of humor, he made complex ideas feel clear and actionable.
Conversations, Community, and Pizza
After the talk, participants dove into open discussions about their own software architecture challenges and experiences.
With around 40 guests in attendance, the evening turned into a lively mix of knowledge-sharing and networking — fueled by pizza, soft drinks, and radler, of course.
Even though the first autumn chill had arrived outside, the atmosphere inside was warm, curious, and full of ideas.
Collaboration Behind the Scenes
The event came together through fantastic teamwork between the LE Software Craft Community and PRISMA Leipzig. Special thanks go to Ferdinand Ade for organizing, Jörg Adler for making the connection, and to Marlucio Alberto and Henriette Hellwing — for ensuring everything ran smoothly.
Looking Ahead
This meetup is another step in PRISMA’s commitment to fostering exchange and continuous learning in the software community. A big thank you to everyone who took part — your energy and engagement made the evening a real success.
We look forward to hosting many more events that bring developers together to share knowledge, challenge ideas, and grow as a community. Stay tuned!
