Six Years of PRISMA: A Celebration of Growth, Change, and Community

On April 1st, PRISMA marked a major milestone — our sixth anniversary. What began as a modest initiative has grown into a central platform for European gas capacity trading. To celebrate this special occasion, we gathered as a team to reflect on the journey so far and to look ahead to what's next.

A First Look at Our New Office

This year’s celebration came with a twist: a visit to our brand-new office in the heart of Leipzig. For many, it was their first time stepping into the new space, while others were eager to see their colleagues’ reactions to its design and atmosphere.

The office provided a fitting backdrop to come together, reconnect, and appreciate how far we’ve come — not just as a platform, but as a team and a community.

 Looking Back: From 78 Auctions to 7,000 Daily

With glasses of sekt in hand, we listened to Managing Director Götz Lincke share PRISMA’s origin story. On our launch day, just 78 day-ahead auctions went live. Today, that number has soared to over 7,000 auctions per day — a powerful reminder of how much the gas market, and PRISMA with it, has evolved.

Götz’s reflections served as a reminder that our journey is far from over. If the last six years are any indication, the next chapter promises even more innovation and growth.

A Glimpse Into the Future: Rebranding and Renewal

In addition to celebrating our history, we also looked ahead. Team members behind our ongoing rebranding effortsgave us a sneak peek at what's to come. From visual identity updates to a new way of presenting ourselves to the world, the changes reflect our ambition and the evolution of our role in the market.

The tour of the new office sparked ideas and excitement. Designed for collaboration and openness, the space already feels like a place where new ideas will flourish.

To help preserve the day, a photographer joined us to capture candid moments of joy, connection, and celebration. We also had a photobooth, where team members gathered to take fun pictures together — many of which featured our bright pink stickers, a playful nod to our new brand look.

Stickers quickly found their way onto shirts, phones, glasses — and even each other — turning the afternoon into a shared memory of creativity and community.
