In this edition, we want to share a look ahead:
starting in January, booking confirmations will be sent in a new, more secure format.
We also inform you about an adjustment to surcharge values in the Shipper API, and take the opportunity to remind you to review your PRISMA notification settings if needed.
Finally, with the upcoming clock change in October, please take note of how within-day auctions will be affected.
Kind Regards,
The PRISMA Team
To make booking confirmations more secure, we are improving the way information is shared. Starting in January, detailed data such as balancing groups, booked capacity, and capacity type will no longer appear directly in the confirmation email.
Instead, each confirmation will contain a short summary and a direct link to the respective booking on the platform. This ensures sensitive information stays protected, while you can still access all booking details quickly and easily — just as before.
Ahead of these changes, we’ll host a webinar to guide you through the new format, show how to access details on the platform, and answer your questions. Look out for the registration link in this newsletter in the coming months.
We’re confident these updates will strengthen data security while keeping your processes simple and familiar.
From 29 September onwards, the Shipper API and UI will allow Transport Auction Surcharge Values with up to eight digits after the decimal point.
Any additional digits will be automatically truncated, not rounded.
This ensures more consistent and precise allocation calculations across the platform.
No implementation changes are required on your side.
If you have any questions, our team is happy to support you.
Do you receive a lot of emails from PRISMA? This is a good moment to check which notifications you really need and switch off the ones you don’t.
You can review your preferences by logging into your PRISMA account, clicking on your profile icon in the top-right corner, and going to Notification Settings.
From there, you can edit your market-specific notifications – changes take effect immediately.

How to Manage Your Market-Specific Notifications
As daylight hours shorten and temperatures drop, the annual winter clock change is approaching. On Sunday, October 26th, 2025, clocks will be set back one hour at 03:00 CEST.
This shift affects the standard within-day auction schedule as follows:
October 24th, 2025
October 25th, 2025
October 26th, 2025
Please plan accordingly to reflect these schedule adjustments.
